How we ensure correct declarations
When you choose Varefakta, we thoroughly review your information and make sure everything is in order. You fill out a specification form and provide relevant data sheets – and if anything is missing, we’ll follow up with you or the manufacturer.
We check that your product meets the rules for the target market – whether the feed is for dogs, cats, rabbits, or other pets.
We review, among other things:
- Feed type and name – do they match the contents?
- Composition – are ingredients listed correctly and in the right order?
- Additives – are quantities legal?
- Analytical constituents – do the numbers add up?
- Instructions for use – is the usage clearly described?
We also offer:
- Guidance on using claims on packaging
- Mandatory quantity declarations for highlighted feed materials on the label
